SOUTHEASTERN HAMBLEN COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 PM EDT for
east Tennessee.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 AM EDT
FOR SOUTH CENTRAL HAWKINS AND CENTRAL GREENE COUNTIES...
At 1111 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles southeast
of Russellville, or 11 miles west of Greeneville, moving east at 30
mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Public.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Greeneville, Mosheim, Bulls Gap, Romeo, and Mohawk.
This includes Interstate 81 in Tennessee between mile markers 19 and
32.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
This storm has a history of producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW
inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows.
