.DISCUSSION...Upper level ridging will continue to dominate the
weather pattern through the remainder of the week, attributing to
warming and drying conditions at the fire site. High temperatures
will increase about 10 degrees Thursday to Friday as afternoon
humidities drop 8 to 10 percent. However, excellent overnight
recoveries are anticipated through the week and into next week.
Due to widespread high pressure, winds will be out of the
northeast Thursday and peaking between 3 PM and 7 PM with gusts of
10 to 15 mph in exposed areas. Winds will slacken overnight into
Friday, shifting from the east early Friday morning after 8 AM.
