At 520 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of rain and
embedded thunderstorms along a line extending from Eagle Springs to
Ellerbe to 2 miles east of Wadesboro. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could produce tree damage and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Sanford, Southern Pines, Rockingham, Raeford, Carthage, Pinehurst,
Hamlet, Aberdeen, Biscoe, and Hoffman.
