...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 AM CDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, south central, and
  southwest Missouri, including the following counties, in central
  Missouri, Pulaski. In east central Missouri, Phelps. In south
  central Missouri, Dent, Howell, Shannon and Texas. In southwest
  Missouri, Douglas, Laclede, Ozark, Taney and Wright.

* WHEN...Until 1015 AM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1022 AM CDT, The Department of Transportation reported
    flooding from previous heavy rain in the advisory area.  Some
    area river gauges are also showing some minor flooding.
  - This includes the following low water crossings...
    South Fork Jacks Fork River at Stillhouse Road, Mahans Creek
    at County Road 501, Big Creek at County Road 390, Little
    North Fork River at County Road 916, Bryant Creek at County
    Road 223, North Fork River at County Road 278 and Beaver
    Creek at Crewes Ford Road.
  - Some locations that may experience minor flooding include...
    Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, Mountain Grove, Ava, Mountain
    View, Willow Springs, Houston, St. Robert, Licking, Cabool,
    Mansfield, Norwood, Hartville, Eminence, Summersville,
    Raymondville, Dawson, Pomona, Huggins, Wasola, Plato, Elk
    Creek, Simmons, Solo, Bucyrus, Bendavis, Clear Springs,
    Yukon, Success, Graff, Eunice, Prescott, Arroll, Vanzant,
    Hazelton, Roby, Drury, Manes, Siloam Springs and Hartshorn.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
