* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Ciales County in Puerto Rico...
  Corozal County in Puerto Rico...
  Manati County in Puerto Rico...
  Morovis County in Puerto Rico...
  Orocovis County in Puerto Rico...
  Vega Alta County in Puerto Rico...
  Vega Baja County in Puerto Rico...

* Until 800 PM AST.

* At 639 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated areas of heavy rains
  continue across the warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
  to begin shortly and rivers and streams are already reacting.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by Heavy rainfall and excessive
           runoff.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Morovis, Ciales, Orocovis, Manati, Vega Baja, Corozal, Vega Alta,
  Barceloneta, Ceiba, Franquez, Barahona, Miranda, Coto Norte,
  Monserrate, La Luisa, Brenas, San Antonio, Tierras Nuevas
  Poniente, Tierras Nuevas Pon and Sabana.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
