NORTHEASTERN TEHAMA...NORTH CENTRAL BUTTE AND SOUTHEASTERN SHASTA
COUNTIES THROUGH 1130 AM PDT...

At 1043 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Stirling City, or 9 miles north of Pulga, moving
north at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Paradise, Chester, Pulga, Prattville, Lake Almanor Country Club,
Stirling City, Storrie, Lake Almanor Peninsula, Butte Meadows, Lake
Almanor, Concow, Mill Creek, Lake Almanor West, Lovelock, Almanor,
Tobin, Belden, and Magalia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
