...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN BUTTE...
NORTHWESTERN LAWRENCE AND EAST CENTRAL CROOK COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM
MDT...

At 548 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northeast of Beulah, or 7 miles southwest of Belle Fourche,
moving north at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Butte,
northwestern Lawrence and east central Crook Counties.

This includes...
 Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 1 and 10.
 Interstate 90 in Wyoming between Mile Markers 205 and 207.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
northwestern and west central South Dakota...and northeastern
Wyoming.
