THE MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL. MONTHLY
RAINFALL WAS ABOVE NORMAL.

DESPITE THE COOL MONTH OVERALL, THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS
STILL ABOVE NORMAL. THERE WERE ALSO 9 DAYS WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES OF
90 OR HIGHER, WHICH IS 1 ABOVE AVERAGE.

NO DAILY TEMPERATURE OR PRECIPITATION RECORDS WERE SET LAST MONTH.

CLIMATE RECORDS HAVE BEEN KEPT AT RONALD REAGAN WASHINGTON NATIONAL
AIRPORT SINCE AUGUST OF 1941. ADDITIONAL TEMPERATURE RECORDS FOR THE
WASHINGTON DC AREA OBSERVED DOWNTOWN EXTEND BACK TO JANUARY OF 1872.
PRECIPITATION RECORDS EXTEND BACK TO JANUARY OF 1871. SNOWFALL
RECORDS BEGAN IN JANUARY OF 1884.
