TEMPERATURE FOR MAY WAS 55.0 DEGREES AND WAS COOLER THAN NORMAL BY
2.1 DEGREES. THE MONTHLY PRECIPITATION TOTAL WAS 7.85 INCHES AND WAS
5.04 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. THE MONTH OF MAY WAS THE WETTEST MAY ON
RECORD. THE PREVIOUS RUNNERS UP FOR THE WETTEST MAY WERE 7.34 INCHES
IN 1998...7.30 INCHES IN 1977...AND 7.24 INCHES IN 1905.

A FEW RECORDS OCCURRED DURING THE MONTH. FOR TEMPERATURES...A LOW
