REMARKS...

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR SEPTEMBER WAS SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL. THE
MONTHLY AVERAGE WAS 59.2 DEGREES OR 1.2 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.WHILE
WITHIN THE EXPECTED CLIMATOLOGICAL RANGE FOR SEPTEMBER IT TIES WITH
1958 AS THE 26TH WARMEST ON RECORD. RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURES
OF 61 DEGREES OCCURRED ON SEPTEMBER 26 AND 27.

FOR THE 26TH...THE OLD RECORD WAS 57 DEGREES SET BACK IN 2013.
FOR THE 27TH...THE OLD RECORD WAS 56 DEGREES SET BACK IN 1914.

PRECIPITATION FOR SEPTEMBER WAS BELOW NORMAL. 1.32 INCHES OF RAIN
FELL IN SEPTEMBER AND WAS 0.73 INCHES BELOW NORMAL. THIS TOO IS WELL
WITHIN THE NORMAL CLIMATIC RANGE FOR SEPTEMBER. NO PRECIPITATION
RECORDS OCCURRED DURING THE PAST MONTH.
