RECORDED ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND BELOW NORMAL RAINFALL. THIS
MARCH NOW RANKS AS THE TWELFTH WARMEST MARCH AND THE TENTH DRIEST
MARCH.

THIS MARCH OF 2017 PROVED UNREMARKABLE IN SHREVEPORT WITH NO
FLOODING NOR SEVERE WEATHER RECORDED.  ALTHOUGH SEVERE WEATHER JUST
MISSED SHREVEPORT AND BOSSIER CITY DURING THE 24TH...WE JUST
RECEIVED BENEFICIAL RAINFALL.

SHREVEPORT BROKE ONE DAILY HIGH TEMPERATURE RECORD FOR THIS MARCH.
DURING MARCH 20TH...THE HIGH TEMPERATURE REACHED 88 DEGREES AND
BROKE THE PREVIOUS DAILY HIGH TEMPERATURE RECORD OF 87 DEGREES
DURING 1982.
