SPRING 2016 AT GRAND FORKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WAS THE SIXTH WARMEST
ON RECORD WITH AN AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 45.0 DEGREES WITH THE RECORD
BEING 49.7 IN 1977. THE SEASON STARTED VERY DRY BUT ABUNDANT RAINFALL
DURING THE MONTH OF MAY RAISED THE PRECIPITATION TOTAL TO 1.16 INCHES
ABOVE NORMAL.
