Generalized Statewide Coastal Waters Forecast for Hawaii

.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
Moderate to fresh trade winds will persist through the weekend,
as a ridge of high pressure remains far north of the islands. As
the high builds northeast of the area early next week, the trades
will strengthen to locally strong levels across portions of the
coastal waters.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-


.REST OF TONIGHT AND FRIDAY...East winds 10 to 20 knots. Wind waves
3 to 5 feet...subsiding to 2 to 4 feet Friday. South swell 3 feet
and southeast 3 feet. Scattered showers.
.FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Wind waves
2 to 4 feet. South swell 3 feet and southeast 3 feet. Scattered
showers.
.SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY...East winds 10 to 20 knots. Wind waves 3
to 5 feet. Southeast swell 3 feet and northeast 3 to 5 feet.
Scattered showers.
.TUESDAY...East winds 15 to 25 knots. Wind waves 4 to 8 feet.
Southeast swell 3 feet and northeast 4 feet. Scattered showers.
