...ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVY RAIN WEDNESDAY...

.SEVERAL INCHES OF RAIN OVER THE PAST FEW DAYS HAVE SATURATED
SOILS AND CAUSED A SWELLING OF AREA STREAMS. YET ANOTHER ROUND OF
HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY AND
WILL RESULT IN AN INCREASED RISK FOR FLASH FLOODING. FOR TONIGHT
AND WEDNESDAY...AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL IS
POSSIBLE.

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL MISSOURI AND
NORTHWEST MISSOURI HAS BEEN CANCELLED. THE STORM SYSTEM WHICH WILL
GENERATE THE NEXT ROUND OF HEAVY RAINS WILL TRACK A BIT FURTHER SOUTH
THAN EARLIER THOUGHT. THEREFORE THE THREAT OF HEAVY RAIN FOR PARTS OF
NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL MISSOURI HAS ENDED.

  KANSAS...JOHNSON ...KS...LEAVENWORTH...LINN KS...MIAMI AND
  WYANDOTTE. IN MISSOURI...ADAIR...BATES...CALDWELL...CARROLL...
  CASS...CHARITON...CLAY...CLINTON...COOPER...HENRY...HOWARD...
  JACKSON...JOHNSON MO...LAFAYETTE...LINN MO...LIVINGSTON...
  MACON...PETTIS...PLATTE...RANDOLPH...RAY...SALINE AND
  SULLIVAN.

* THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING

* ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVY RAIN WILL AFFECT THE AREA BEGINNING EARLY
  WEDNESDAY MORNING AND LASTING INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY EVENING.
  WIDESPREAD RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO 2 INCHES ARE EXPECTED...WITH
  LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.

* RIVERS...CREEKS AND STREAMS WILL BE ESPECIALLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO
  FLOODING DUE TO THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL. IN ADDITION...MANY
  ROADS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS MAY BECOME FLOODED AND
  IMPASSIBLE.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
