CENTRAL BRAZOS AND CENTRAL BURLESON COUNTIES...

AT 958 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR AND AUTOMATED RAIN GAUGES INDICATED
THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN OVER THE WARNED AREA. 4 TO 6
INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN. FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN
SHORTLY. THE HEAVIEST RAIN HAS FALLEN IN WESTERN PARTS OF COLLEGE
STATION NEAR EASTERWOOD FIELD WHERE 2 INCHES HAVE FALLEN IN LAST
HOUR.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
COLLEGE STATION...BRYAN...SOMERVILLE...SNOOK...KYLE FIELD AND LYONS.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE IN THE WARNED
AREA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.

TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.
