...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Nebraska...

  North Platte River near Henry affecting Scotts Bluff County
  North Platte River near Mitchell affecting Scotts Bluff County

.Hydrologic Summary...Snowmelt and reservoir releases will
maintain high water levels along the North Platte River this week.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast today and Tuesday
week which may result in additional short notice rises to the
river.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded areas. Move to higher ground. The water
may be deep enough to float you and your vehicle. Turn around, don`t
drown.

The next statement will be issued this evening.

* Flood Warning continues for
  The North Platte River near Henry.
* For the North Platte River near Henry, Minor flooding is occurring,
  with a stage of 6.3 feet measured at 10 AM Monday. The river is expected to
  remain fairly steady at this point during the next couple of days.
* Impact...at 6.5 feet...Lowland flooding intensifies. Homes along the
  North Platte River will be totally inundated with basement and
  overland flooding.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 6.3 feet
  on Jun 13 1986.

* Flood Warning continues for
  The North Platte River near Mitchell.
* For the North Platte River near Mitchell, Moderate flooding is
  occurring, with an estimated stage of 8.8 feet measured at 10 AM Monday.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* The river will remain steady around 8.8 feet during the next couple of days.
* Impact...at 9.5 feet...Major flooding occurs across southern
  portions of Scottsbluff. Major flooding of homes and agricultural
  land occurs near the river. Flood wave travel time from Mitchell to
  Scottsbluff is about 10 to 12 hours.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.0 feet
  on Jun 20 2010.

* For the North Platte River near Minatare, minor flooding is
  occurring, with an estimated stage of 7.5 feet measured at 10 AM Monday.
* The river is expected to remain steady at 7.5 feet during the next couple of
days.
* The river will fall below flood stage at 12 AM Friday.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.6 feet
  on Jun 2 1971.
