River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 48 hours.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternate route. Turn around, don`t drown.

* Until further notice.
* At  8:00 PM Friday the stage was 15.5 feet...and steady.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring.
* Recent activity...the river is rising.
* Forecast...Rise to 16.8 feet Wednesday...then begin falling.
* Impact...At  16.0 feet...Water affects agricultural land along the
  river. Water is several feet deep in places.

* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring.
* Recent activity...the river is slowly falling.
* Forecast...Fall below flood stage Thursday morning.
* Impact...At  23.0 feet...Water affects residential property along
  the river south of the Iowa Highway 92 bridge.

* Impact...At  27.0 feet...Water reaches the bottom of Iowa Highway
  99 bridge near Oakville.

* Forecast...Fall to 15.2 feet Sunday morning.
* Impact...At  15.2 feet...Water affects the south approach to the
  Iowa Highway 99 bridge near Oakville.
