...The flood warning continues for the following river in Illinois...

                     Illinois River

                     ...at La Grange Lock and Dam
                     ...at Meredosia
                     ...at Valley City
                     ...at Hardin


.This forecast is a result of less than 0.1 inches of rain the past
24 hours and less than a quarter inch forecast in the next 24 hours...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heavy rains could cause river levels to rise even higher than
predicted.  The National Weather Service will monitor this developing
situation and issue follow up statements as conditions or forecasts
change.

Safety message:  Never drive cars, trucks, or sport utility vehicles
through flooded areas.  The water may be too deep to allow for safe
passage.

  the Illinois River at La Grange LD TW
* until Wednesday afternoon.
* At  8:00 AM Saturday the stage was 24.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* If no additional significant rain falls over the next few days...the
  river is expected to continue falling to below flood stage early
  Tuesday afternoon.

  Tuesday morning.

* Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.

  few days...the river is expected to continue falling to below flood
  stage by Wednesday evening.
