...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 PM MDT SATURDAY FOR
SOUTHWESTERN PENNINGTON AND NORTHEASTERN CUSTER COUNTIES...

VERY HIGH STREAMFLOWS AND MINOR FLOODING CONTINUE ALONG RAPID CREEK
DOWNSTREAM FROM PACTOLA RESERVOIR TO THE CHEYENNE RIVER...AND ALONG
SPRING CREEK BOTH UPSTREAM AND DOWNSTREAM OF SHERIDAN LAKE. WATER
LEVELS ALONG SPRING CREEK CONTINUE TO RECEDE...BUT THERE IS STILL
FLOODING IN LOW-LYING AREAS. MINOR FLOODING DUE TO RELEASES FROM
PACTOLA RESERVOIR AND ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE
FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.

THERE IS A DAILY CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THIS WEEK.
SOME OF THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN. SINCE THE SOIL IS
SATURATED...ANY RAIN THAT FALLS WILL QUICKLY FLOW INTO RAPID CREEK
AND SPRING CREEK...RESULTING IN ADDITIONAL RISES.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING INCLUDE...RAPID
CITY...HILL CITY...RAPID VALLEY...JOHNSON SIDING...HISEGA...
CAPUTA...FOLSOM...FARMINGDALE...ROCKERVILLE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
