...The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a flood
warning for the following rivers in Texas...

  Salt Fork Of The Red River Near Wellington 7 miles North AFFECTING
  Collingsworth County
..Four to six inches of rain have fallen across the headwaters of
the Salt Fork of the Red River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive vehicles through flooded areas.

Know your location in relation to creeks and rivers that can become
killers in heavy rains. Do not attempt to drive through rising water.
Do not cross areas where water is flowing...even on foot. Rapidly
flowing water can quickly sweep you off your feet.

The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Salt Fork Of The Red River 7 miles north of Wellington.
* from this evening to Sunday morning...Or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At 12:45 PM Saturday the stage was 6.05 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to around 8.0 feet...flood
  stage...this evening.
* Impact...At 8.0 feet...Lowest areas of Collingsworth County
  Roadside  Park begin to flood, including the campground area.
  Flooding of ranch land also begins to occur.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.0
  feet on Jul 7 2010.
