NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BIRMINGHAM AL
625 AM CDT SAT JUL 4 2015

...The National Weather Service in BIRMINGHAM AL has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Alabama...

  Village Creek At Avenue W Affecting Jefferson County.

.Heavy rainfall of 2 to 3 inches has occurred this morning over the Village Creek drainage basin and a flood warning is now in effect for Village Creek at Avenue W in Ensley. An additional 2 to 3 inches of rainfall is expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.  Turn Around...Don`t Drown.

Another statement will be issued by this evening...or sooner if
conditions warrant.

The National Weather Service in BIRMINGHAM AL has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  the Village Creek At At Avenue W.
* until late tonight...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  6:15 AM Saturday The stage Was 8.0 feet.
* Flood Stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor Flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage later this morning with a crest
  near 12.8 feet at 11 AM today.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...Residential flooding occurs in the Ensley
  area and evacuations will likely be necessary. Persons in low lying
  areas near the creek should move to higher ground.
