NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN

...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Flood
Warning for portions of the following rivers in central and southern
Indiana...

  Flatrock River...White River...
...Observed flooding changed from Minor to Nonflood severity for the
following rivers in Indiana...
...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the
following rivers in Indiana...
  Sugar Creek at Crawfordsville affecting Montgomery and Parke
  Counties

.Lowland flooding will develop along rivers in central and southern
Indiana. Significant flooding is not expected. Flooding will affect
some local and state roads...low agricultural land and some river
parks. Flooding will begin by Sunday.

Recent rain and additional rain over the coming days will cause
flooding. Major flooding is not expected. Flooding less than half a
foot above flood stage is expected for Flatrock Creek at Columbus.
Flooding 1.5 feet above flood stage is expected for White River at
Nora and less than half a foot above at Anderson. Flooding 2.2 feet
above flood stage is expected for Sugar Creek at Crawfordsville.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

  the White River at Anderson.
* from Sunday morning to Monday afternoon.
* At  9:30 PM Saturday the stage was 7.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow late morning and
  continue to rise to near 10.2 feet by tomorrow early afternoon.
  The river will fall below flood stage by early Monday morning.
* At 10.0 feet...Flooding of Edgewater Park just across from gage site
  begins.  Some low farmland begins to flood.  At least one low city
  street begins to flood.

* from Sunday evening to late Tuesday night.
* At 10:00 PM Saturday the stage was 6.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow evening and continue
  to rise to near 12.4 feet by Monday morning.  The river will fall
  below flood stage by Tuesday afternoon.
* At 12.5 feet...East 77th Street near Mystic Bay begins to flood.

* At  9:30 PM Saturday the stage was 4.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow late morning and
  continue to rise to near 10.2 feet by Monday morning.  The river
  will fall below flood stage by early Tuesday morning.
* At 10.0 feet...Flooding is in progress along Sugar Creek.
  Montgomery County Road 175 E, Rock River Ridge Road and other roads
  are impassable.  Flooding begins north of Sugar Creek along U.S.
  231.

* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to near flood stage Monday
  morning.
* At 10.5 feet...Approaching flood stage on the Flatrock River at
  Columbus.  CR 550 N flooded according to Columbus Flood Response
  Plan.
