...The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a flood warning
for the following river in Nebraska...

  Big Blue River Near Surprise affecting Butler County.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through areas where water covers the road.  The
water depth may be too great to allow your vehicle to pass safely.
Turn around...don`t drown!

The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a
* Flood Warning for
  The Big Blue River Near Surprise.
* until Wednesday morning...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  5:45 PM Monday the stage was 6.9 feet...or 0.1 feet below
  flood stage.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...rise above flood stage by this evening and continue to
  rise to near 7.5 feet by tomorrow morning. The river will fall
  below flood stage by early tomorrow afternoon.
* Impact...at 7.0 feet...County road 24 1/2 will begin to flood
  downstream of Surprise. In addition, the city park near the gage
  site begins to flood.
