...Forecast Flooding Changed from Minor to Moderate Severity for the following
rivers Ohio River...

Affecting the following counties in Ohio...Gallia and in West Virginia...Mason.

Water from previous rains and snow melt will continue to flow into the Ohio
River. This will cause the Ohio River to Rise and reach and go over flood
stage at Point Pleasant with moderate severity.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around and don`t drown.  Do not drive into areas where
water is flowing over the roadway.  Most deaths occur when motorists
try crossing flooded roads.


Please report high water to the National Weather Service by
calling toll free...1-800-401-9535...when you can do so safely.

...Forecast flooding increased from Minor TO Moderate severity...
The Flood Warning continues for
  the Ohio River At Point Pleasant.
* until Saturday afternoon...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  3:00 AM Friday the stage was 43.8 feet.
* Minor Flooding is occurring and Moderate Flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* Forecast...the river will continue rising to near 44.1 feet by this morning.
  The river will fall below flood stage Saturday morning.
* At stages near 44.0 feet...Homes at the end of 2nd Street outside the flood
  wall in Point Pleasant are flooded. Little Kyger Gravel Hill Road at Ohio
  Route 7 is flooded.
* A crest near 44.1 feet compares to a previous crest of 43.6 feet on March 15
  2010.
