FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ANCHORAGE AK
359 PM AKDT TUE JUN 2 2015

.DISCUSSION...
TWO UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES WILL KEEP CLOUDY SKIES AND SHOWERS OVER MUCH
OF THE MAINLAND THROUGH MID WEEK. THE FIRST OF THESE SYSTEMS OVER THE CENTRAL
INTERIOR WILL BRING ISOLATED WET THUNDERSTORMS TO THE COPPER RIVER
BASIN THIS EVENING...WHICH ARE THEN EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON/EVENING ALONG THE ALASKA RANGE. THE SECOND SYSTEM THAT IS MOVING
INTO THE GULF WILL BEGIN TO BRING MOIST CONDITIONS TO THE SOUTHERN MAINLAND ON
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. AHEAD OF THIS LOW...GUSTY GAP WINDS WILL DEVELOP AGAIN
ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY FROM TURNAGAIN ARM TO THE COPPER RIVER...HOWEVER
RH VALUES ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN ABOVE CRITICAL VALUES.
