FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR ALASKA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ANCHORAGE AK
348 PM AKDT SUN JUL 27 2014

.DISCUSSION...

AFTER A WARM AND DRY DAY SUNDAY OVER THE SOUTHWEST INTERIOR...CLOUDS
WILL OVERSPREAD THE REGION TONIGHT WITH RAIN DEVELOPING FROM NORTH
TO SOUTH THROUGH MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT. THE HIGHEST CHANCE FOR
WETTING RAINS LOOKS TO BE FROM THE MIDDLE KUSKOKWIM VALLEY SOUTH
AND EAST TO AREAS NORTH AND EAST OF DILLINGHAM THROUGH TUESDAY.

LATE TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY...STRONGER OFFSHORE WINDS ACROSS THE
SOUTHWEST MAINLAND WILL ALLOW FOR MUCH WARMER AND DRIER CONDITIONS TO
BEGIN IMPACTING THE AREA.
