...Gradual Drying Today With More Showers Returning Sunday...

.DISCUSSION...
Showers will be ending from west to east this morning and drier
air will return to the region this afternoon. Still cannot rule
out the possibility of some showers near the international border
this afternoon...but overall most of the area will be dry this
afternoon. However...afternoon relative humidities will only lower
into the 40-50 percent range. Quite a bit of precipitation fell
over the area in the past 24 hours...with some areas picking up
1.5 to 2.5 inches...so no fuel concerns. Dry weather continues
into tonight...but then the chances for showers will increase
throughout the day on Sunday. Higher humidities are also expected.
Unsettled weather remains on track for much of next week with a
series of upper level disturbances bringing chances for showers
just about everyday and humidity values remaining on the high side.
Thus no fire weather concerns are expected.
