Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
230 PM EST Sun Feb 19 2017

.DISCUSSION...Dry weather and unseasonably warm temperatures will
continue through Tuesday. Surface winds Monday will generally be
out of the NE/E and less than 10 mph. However winds may become
light and variable at times. Transport winds will be easterly
from 5 to 10 mph with min RH values from 30 to 35 percent. Dry
air will inhibit fog formation tonight but there may be a few fog
prone areas which still experience some patchy fog.

High pressure will move offshore Tuesday promoting onshore flow.
Expect SE surface winds and S transport winds from 5 to 10 mph.
Minimum RH values will be higher then Monday, around 40 percent.
