FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
355 AM CDT TUE MAY 24 2016

.DISCUSSION...
WARM AND DRY WEATHER WILL CONTINUE ACROSS NORTHERN ALABAMA
THROUGH THURSDAY...AS HIGH PRESSURE JUST OFF OF THE
SOUTHEAST COAST BRINGS A SOUTHERLY FLOW ACROSS THE REGION.
HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY SHOULD RISE INTO THE MID AND UPPER
80S...AND SOME SPOTS NEARING 90 DEGREES DURING WEDNESDAY.

A SLOW STAGNATION OF THE AIRMASS SHOULD RESULT IN SLIGHTLY
HIGHER MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES THIS AFTERNOON...
RANGING IN THE LOWER 30S PERCENT RANGE. LOWER TO MID 30S
RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES ARE FORECAST FOR THE MIDDLE OF THE
WEEK. GENERALLY GOOD TO GOOD SMOKE DISPERSION RATES ARE
FORECAST TODAY...WITH GOOD RATES EXPECTED ON WEDNESDAY.
ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS RETURNS TO THE FORECAST
LATE IN THE WEEK AND DURING THE UPCOMING HOLIDAY WEEKEND.
