FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
435 AM CDT MON SEP 22 2014

.DISCUSSION...
COOLER AND DRIER AIR WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH INTO THE CENTRAL
TENNESSEE VALLEY TODAY IN THE WAKE OF A STRONG COLD FRONT
SUNDAY EVENING. AFTERNOON RH VALUES WILL FALL INTO THE 35-40
PERCENT BOTH TODAY AND TUESDAY...WITH ABUNDANT SUNSHINE AND
TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 70S/LOWER 80S. NORTHERLY TRANSPORT
FLOW AROUND 15 MPH WILL PROVIDE GOOD SMOKE DISPERSION TODAY...
WITH VALUES DECLINING TOMORROW AS WINDS DIMINISH.

THE COOL AND DRY AIRMASS WILL GRADUALLY WARM AND MOISTEN THROUGH
THE END OF THE WEEK...AS A LIGHT EASTERLY FLOW DEVELOPS ACROSS
THE REGION. THE NEXT CHANCE FOR SUBSTANTIAL RAINFALL WILL COME
LATE SATURDAY OR SUNDAY...AS A DISTURBANCE MOVES NORTHEASTWARD
FROM THE CENTRAL GULF COAST REGION.
