Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central/Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
333 AM CST Sun Feb 26 2017

.DISCUSSION...
A ridge of high pressure will pull away from central and
southeast Illinois today, with southerly winds developing in its
wake. These southerly winds are expected to persist into midweek,
and push temperatures warmer each day through Tuesday. A periodic
risk of rain is expected into midweek as well, with the best
chances occurring Monday night, and again Tuesday afternoon into
Wednesday. Thunderstorms are also a good bet for Tuesday. Outside
of any rainy periods, burning conditions will generally be good
with Mixing Heights in excess of 4000 feet, and moderate transport
winds.
