.DISCUSSION...

Elevated fire danger is expected for Monday and Tuesday across
western and north central Nebraska. For Monday, northwesterly
winds of 10 to 20 MPH will develop across the area. These winds
will combine with minimum relative humidity of 15 to 20 percent,
producing extreme fire weather conditions across southwestern
Nebraska Monday afternoon. On Tuesday, relative humidity will be
lower, however winds are expected to be lighter at around 10 MPH.
Very high to near extreme fire weather conditions are anticipated
Tuesday afternoon.
