.DISCUSSION...

Hot temperatures are expected this afternoon across western and
north central Nebraska with readings well into the 90s. Minimum
relative humidity will fall off to 15 to 20 percent by late
afternoon, before recovering to around 70 percent tonight. There
is a threat for isolated thunderstorms in the panhandle and
western sandhills late this afternoon and early this evening.
Rainfall amounts will be fairly light however and will be limited
to the eastern panhandle and western sandhills.
