Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Lake Charles LA
333 PM CDT Thu May 9 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Another round of patchy fog is expected tonight ahead of
approaching cold front. Remnant haze in the region may assist with
fog development. The cold front moves into the region late this
evening accompanied by scattered showers and thunderstorms across
central Louisiana. Northerly winds behind the front will usher in
cooler and drier conditions into the region Friday into Saturday.
Winds will turn back out of the south by Sunday with precipitation
chances increasing Sunday afternoon through Monday.
