FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EASTERN/CENTRAL MO AND SOUTHWEST IL
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ST LOUIS MO
346 PM CDT SUN MAR 29 2015

.DISCUSSION...
A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION THIS EVENING...SHIFTING THE
WIND BRIEFLY TO THE NORTHWEST. HIGH PRESSURE BEHIND THE FRONT WILL
BUILD INTO THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY ON MONDAY...AND THIS WILL
FORCE THE WIND TO TURN BACK TO THE SOUTHWEST BY THE AFTERNOON. LOW
FUEL MOISTURE...RELATIVE HUMIDITY AT OR BELOW 30 PERCENT...AND
INCREASING SOUTHWEST FLOW WILL CAUSE AN ELEVATED FIRE DANGER FOR
PARTS OF NORTHEAST MISSOURI AND WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS ON MONDAY.

ANOTHER WEAK COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA ON TUESDAY. THIS
WILL BRING HIGHER RELATIVE HUMIDITY LEVELS AND NORTHERLY FLOW BACK
TO THE AREA.
