FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EASTERN WASHINGTON AND NORTH IDAHO
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPOKANE WA
241 PM PDT TUE MAY 24 2016

.DISCUSSION...

THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHOWERY WEATHER THE
PAST COUPLE DAYS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE SLOWLY EAST...TAKING MOST
OF THE COOL AND UNSETTLED WEATHER WITH IT. ANY SLOW MOVING SHOWERS
AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING AND AGAIN WEDNESDAY EVENING HAVE
THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE BRIEF AND LOCALIZED HEAVY RAIN. THURSDAY
STANDS OUT WITH THE LOWEST CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION IN THE SEVEN
DAY FORECAST. ANOTHER COLD FRONT WILL BRING MORE WET AND UNSETTLED
WEATHER FRIDAY THAT WILL CONTINUE ON THROUGH THE MEMORIAL DAY
WEEKEND. VERY GUSTY WEST WINDS WILL BE LIKELY FOR THE CASCADE GAPS
LATE WEDNESDAY.
