Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
1145 AM MDT Fri Apr 28 2017

.Discussion...

A strong storm system will move across southern Colorado and New
Mexico through Sunday morning spreading a prolonged period of snow
across much of the district. The heaviest snow will fall across
the southeast mountains and adjacent plains...particularly south of
highway 50. This system will clear to the east of the area during
the day on Sunday. Cooler and unsettled weather will continue through
early week with a trend towards warmer and drier conditions
through mid to late week.

Highest smoke dispersion rates will be across southern portions
of the district this afternoon, rising into the very good to
excellent category. Northern sections will see fair to good
afternoon smoke dispersion rates. Strong winds on Saturday will
lead to very good to excellent dispersions across the eastern half
of the district with fair to good dispersions across the west.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
