...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

OUR BRIEF STRETCH OF DRY WEATHER WILL END THIS EVENING AND THURSDAY
AS THE FIRST IN A SERIES OF WET STORM SYSTEMS PUSHES ACROSS THE
REGION. THIS WILL BE QUICKLY FOLLOWED BY A SECOND SYSTEM FRIDAY INTO
SATURDAY AND YET ANOTHER SUNDAY INTO MONDAY. THESE STORMS WILL BRING
SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL TO THE MOUNTAINS AND RAIN TO THE DESERTS.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL CONTINUE DRY WEATHER TODAY. A SERIES OF
STORMS WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY. STRONGEST
WINDS AND HEAVIEST PRECIPITATION WILL BE THURSDAY MORNING...FRIDAY
AFTERNOON...AND SUNDAY INTO MONDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

HIGH PRESSURE TODAY WILL GIVE WAY TO INCREASING MOISTURE AHEAD OF A
LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM THURSDAY. LIGHT RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE EARLY
THURSDAY MORNING...HOWEVER THE GREATER POTENTIAL FOR WETTING RAINS
WILL BE LATER THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE HIGHEST RAIN
TOTALS ARE EXPECTED GENERALLY ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN NORTH AND
EAST OF PHOENIX. WITH THE MOIST CONDITIONS PERSISTING...FIRE DANGER
REMAINS LOW ACROSS THE REGION.
