...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

A PACIFIC SYSTEM MOVING INTO THE WESTERN STATES TODAY AND TONIGHT
WILL FOCUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PRIMARILY OVER ARIZONA AND
UTAH THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. ELSEWHERE ACROSS SOUTHEAST
CALIFORNIA AND SOUTHERN NEVADA A FEW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BE POSSIBLE TODAY THROUGH THURSDAY ALONG WITH BREEZY AND
COOLER CONDITIONS. THE SYSTEM WILL MOVE AWAY LATE THURSDAY BUT
COOL AND UNSETTLED WEATHER WILL CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK
AS ADDITIONAL PACIFIC SYSTEMS MOVE INLAND.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A WEAK STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING HUMID AND SHOWERY WEATHER TODAY AND
TONIGHT, ALONG WITH BRISK ONSHORE WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND
DESERTS. THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING. FAIR AND COOL WEATHER WILL FOLLOW THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.
A CHANCE OF SHOWERS IS EXPECTED SATURDAY WITH THE NEXT LOW PRESSURE
TROUGH, AND SOME INCREASE IN ONSHORE WINDS. WESTERLY WINDS EXPECTED
AGAIN MONDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE DISTRICTS TODAY THROUGH THURSDAY
MORNING WITH COOLER CONDITIONS TODAY AND SUBSTANTIALLY COLDER
TEMPERATURES ON THURSDAY. RAIN CHANCES WILL BEGIN OVER SE
CALIFORNIA THIS AFTERNOON SPREADING EAST DURING THE OVERNIGHT
HOURS. WHILE MOST LOCATIONS WILL SEE SOME LIGHT RAIN, WETTING RAINS
WILL BE MORE LOCALIZED AND FAVOR HIGHER TERRAIN AREAS. MINIMUM
HUMIDITY VALUES WILL INCREASE WITH VALUES ONLY FALLING TO A
25-50 PERCENT RANGE. WINDS WILL STRENGTHEN MARKEDLY THIS AFTERNOON
WITH WIDESPREAD GUSTS 25 TO 35 MPH. SIMILAR WIND SPEEDS WILL REVISIT
THE REGION AGAIN THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
