...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

LINGERING MOISTURE COMBINED WITH DAYTIME HEATING WILL ONCE AGAIN
HELP TO TRIGGER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE AREA ONCE
AGAIN TODAY PRIMARILY IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS. AN AREA
OF LOW PRESSURE OFF THE CALIFORNIA COAST WILL GRADUALLY MOVE INLAND
TUESDAY INTO FRIDAY. THIS WILL SLOWLY ALLOW DRIER AIR TO WORK EAST
ACROSS THE AREA REDUCING THE POTENTIAL FOR SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS AND ALSO HELP TO LOWER TEMPERATURES. READINGS WILL
REMAIN BELOW NORMAL THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK. &&

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

RESIDUAL MID LEVEL MONSOONAL MOISTURE WILL ONCE AGAIN BRING A SLIGHT
CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TO THE MOUNTAINS AND UPPER DESERTS THIS
AFTERNOON WITH THE MAIN THREATS BEING LOCALLY STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND
LIGHTNING STRIKES. OTHERWISE...A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OFF THE
CALIFORNIA COAST WILL MOVE SLOWLY EASTWARD...MOVING INLAND THROUGH
CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THURSDAY. THIS WILL BRING AN INLAND
COOLING TREND...A DEEPER MARINE LAYER...AND PERIODS OF GUSTY WEST
WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS. FOR FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...HIGH
PRESSURE TO THE EAST WILL EXPAND WESTWARD INTO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
BRINGING AN INLAND WARMING TREND AND SHALLOWER MARINE LAYER.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN A THREAT TODAY...GENERALLY FROM
SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA EASTWARD. ANY STORMS THAT DEVELOP HAVE THE
POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE BRIEF GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN. WARMER AND
DRIER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TUESDAY AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM
APPROACHES CALIFORNIA AND THE WINDS BECOME MORE SOUTHWESTERLY ACROSS
THE DESERT SOUTHWEST. THE CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE RELEGATED
TO THE HIGHER TERRAIN NORTH AND EAST OF PHOENIX.

DISCUSSION FOR...SAN BERNARDINO ECC DISPATCH
520 AM PDT MON JUL 6 2015

LINGERING MOISTURE COMBINED WITH DAYTIME HEATING WILL ONCE AGAIN
HELP TO TRIGGER ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS AND
DESERTS IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THUNDERSTORMS WITH WETTING
RAINS WILL BE MORE NUMEROUS OVER THE INYO FOREST TODAY. AN AREA OF
LOW PRESSURE OFF THE CALIFORNIA COAST WILL GRADUALLY MOVE INLAND
TUESDAY INTO FRIDAY. THIS WILL SLOWLY ALLOW DRIER AIR TO WORK ACROSS
THE AREA REDUCING THE POTENTIAL FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AND
ALSO HELP TO LOWER TEMPERATURES.
