.DISCUSSION...A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF MONSOONAL MOISTURE WILL FLOW
NORTHWARD INTO THE DISTRICT THROUGH MONDAY ALONG THE WESTERN
PERIPHERY OF A STRONG UPPER LEVEL RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED
OVER THE GREAT BASIN. HUMIDITIES WILL REMAIN MODERATELY HIGH DURING
THIS TIME WITH ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER
MAINLY THE HIGHER TERRAIN. WARMER TEMPERATURES AND SLIGHTLY LOWER
HUMIDITIES CAN BE EXPECTED TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY AS THE GREAT
BASIN HIGH BUILDS WESTWARD OVER CALIFORNIA.
