.DISCUSSION...

...Fire Weather Watch in effect from Saturday morning through
Saturday evening...

Today will continue to be dry and hot under a ridge of high
pressure. Fair weather cumulus will pop over the higher terrain
during the afternoon.

A fire weather watch has been issued for Saturday as a weak front
swings through the region. This front will allow gusty westerly
winds to mix to the surface producing gusts up to 25 potentially
30 mph by the afternoon. The combination of the winds with the
continuation of very dry conditions will create hazardous fire
conditions.

A backdoor cold front will push into your region Saturday evening
causing the winds to become easterly. These easterly winds will
persist throughout Sunday, as temperatures drops and humidities
increase.
