THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL
NEW MEXICO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON WILL BE SCATTERED ON MOST MOUNTAIN
RANGES AND ONLY ISOLATED IN THE VALLEYS AND EASTERN PLAINS. ANY
THUNDERSTORM COULD PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN AND LOCALIZED FLASH
FLOODING. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL ACTUALLY INCREASE
TONIGHT AS A SURGE OF MONSOON MOISTURE MOVES NORTH OUT OF MEXICO
INTO WESTERN NEW MEXICO.

HEAVY RAINFALL FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING IS POSSIBLE
ANYWHERE ACROSS NORTHERN AND CENTRAL NEW MEXICO...WHERE LOCALIZED
AREAS OF FLASH FLOODING MAY OCCUR. RECENT BURN SCARS ARE ESPECIALLY
SUSCEPTIBLE TO FLASH FLOODING.
