THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

RIP CURRENTS: THERE IS A MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS AT THE ATLANTIC
BEACHES WITH THE RISK ALSO BECOMING MODERATE ALONG THE GULF BEACHES LATE
TONIGHT.

WAVES: SEAS ALONG THE GULF OFFSHORE WATERS OF NAPLES WILL INCREASE
TO ABOVE 7 FEET LATE TONIGHT CREATING HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR
SMALL BOATERS.

WIND: WINDS OF UP TO 25 TO 30 KNOTS WITH HIGHER GUSTS ARE
FORECAST ACROSS THE SOUTH FLORIDA WATERS AND LAKE OKEECHOBEE
STARTING LATE TONIGHT ONCE AGAIN.

TEMPERATURES: APPARENT TEMPERATURES OF JUST BELOW 45 DEGREES ARE
POSSIBLE TONIGHT AREAS WEST OF LAKE OKEECHOBEE.

NO OTHER HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

A REINFORCED COLD AIRMASS WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION LATE THIS
WEEKEND AND INTO THE EARLY PART OF THE WEEK WITH TEMPERATURES
FEELING IN THE LOWER 40S IN AREAS WEST OF LAKE OKEECHOBEE TO
LOWER 50S ACROSS NAPLES AND PALM BEACH, AND LOWER TO MID 50S
ACROSS BROWARD AND MIAMI DADE SUNDAY MORNING. MONDAY MORNING WILL
BE THE COLDEST ONE WITH TEMPERATURES FEELING IN THE UPPERS 30S
WEST OF LAKE OKEECHOBEE TO AROUND 40 ELSEWHERE. TEMPERATURES WILL
WARM UP A BIT THEREIN AFTER BUT STILL REMAIN BELOW NORMAL FOR
MOST OF THE WEEK.

THE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS IS LIKELY TO INCREASE ONCE AGAIN
PARTICULARLY FOR THE ATLANTIC BEACHES LATE ON SUNDAY AND THROUGH
THE EARLY PART OF THE WEEK DESPITE OFFSHORE WINDS DUE TO LONGER
PERIOD WAVES IMPACTING THE AREA BEACHES.

LARGE WAVES OF GREATER THAN 7 FEET WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE
OFFSHORE WATERS OF COLLIER COUNTY THROUGH AT LEAST SUNDAY EVENING
BEFORE SUBSIDING. ALONG THE ATLANTIC BEACHES, WAVES OF 7 FEET OR
GREATER ARE FORECAST FROM SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT RESULTING
IN HAZARDOUS BOATING CONDITIONS.

SOME OF THESE WAVES WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY LONGER PERIOD WAVES AND
SWELLS PEAKING AROUND 4 TO 6 FEET ON MONDAY OFFSHORE PALM BEACH
COUNTY WHICH COULD RESULT IN MINOR BEACH EROSION AND COASTAL
FLOODING IN VULNERABLE SPOTS.

NO OTHER HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
