HEAVY SNOW WILL MAKE HOLIDAY TRAVEL TREACHEROUS OVER PORTIONS OF
THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN IDAHO PANHANDLE...AS WELL AS THE BLUE
MOUNTAINS TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY
THE WEATHER WILL BE LESS ACTIVE THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. THE NEXT
POTENTIAL FOR WINTER WEATHER WILL BE POSSIBLE SATURDAY INTO
SUNDAY. SEVERAL COMPUTER MODELS SUGGEST THE POTENTIAL FOR A
LOCALLY HEAVY BAND OF SNOW FOR THE IDAHO PANHANDLE AND BLUE
MOUNTAINS. THE TRACK OF THIS WEEKEND SYSTEM IS UNCERTAIN AT THIS
TIME...BUT THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR HEAVY SNOW DOWN TO THE VALLEY

THE WEATHER WILL BE LESS ACTIVE THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. THE NEXT
POTENTIAL FOR WINTER WEATHER WILL BE POSSIBLE SATURDAY INTO
SUNDAY. THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THAT THE CASCADE CREST WILL
RECEIVE LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW ACCUMULATIONS SATURDAY AND

THERE WILL BE A SMALL CHANCE FOR ACCUMULATING SNOW IN CENTRAL AND
NORTH CENTRAL WASHINGTON SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY. AT THIS
TIME...BETTER CHANCES FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOWS WILL BE ALONG THE
CASCADE CREST AND OVER THE EASTERN THIRD OF WASHINGTON INTO NORTH
IDAHO.
