THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

SNOW WILL DEVELOP OVER THE PIKES PEAK REGION...THE WET MOUNTAINS AND
THE SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS LATE THIS AFTERNOON. THE SNOW WILL
LIKELY BE HEAVY AT TIMES THIS EVENING...ESPECIALLY OVER THE WET
MOUNTAINS AND SOUTHERN SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS. THE ACCUMULATING
SNOW WILL GENERALLY OCCUR ABOVE 6500 FEET. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF
4 TO 8 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER AMOUNTS.

ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE CENTRAL
MOUNTAINS.

PORTIONS OF HUERFANO AND WESTERN LAS ANIMAS COUNTY COULD SEE
ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 6 INCHES...GENERALLY FOR ELEVATIONS ABOVE
6500 FEET.

OTHER AREAS OVER 6000 FEET MAY RECEIVE ONE TO TWO INCHES OF SNOW
OVER GRASSY AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

ADDITIONAL STORM SYSTEMS ARE EXPECTED TO IMPACT PORTIONS OF
SOUTHERN COLORADO FROM LATER FRIDAY INTO SUNDAY NIGHT. MOUNTAIN
AREAS GENERALLY ABOVE 8000 FEET COULD EXPERIENCE ACCUMULATING SNOW
AT TIMES FROM FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY NIGHT.

IN ADDITION...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE EACH
AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM FRIDAY INTO NEXT TUESDAY. THE PRIMARY
THREATS FROM THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE LIGHTNING...LOCALIZED WIND
GUSTS AROUND 50 MPH AT TIMES...AND HAIL GENERALLY UNDER 3/4 INCH
IN DIAMETER.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MEET REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL BE
POSSIBLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT FOR ELEVATIONS
GENERALLY ABOVE 6000 FEET.
