THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
  ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

 SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS ALONG WITH WIDESPREAD SHOWERS
 WILL OVERSPREAD THE OUTLOOK AREA FROM THE WEST THROUGH THIS
 EVENING AND LINGER INTO TONIGHT. LIMITED INSTABILITY WILL BE AN
 INHIBITING FACTOR TO THE COVERAGE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
 DEVELOPMENT. HOWEVER ENOUGH INSTABILITY MAY DEVELOP ACROSS FAR
 SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI AND SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS TO SUPPORT THE
 DEVELOPMENT OF STRONG TO POTENTIALLY SEVERE STORMS.

 THE PRIMARY RISK WITH THE STRONGER STORMS WILL BE HAIL UP TO THE
 SIZE OF QUARTERS AND WINDS UP TO 60 MPH. IN ADDITION ANY STORMS
 WILL PRODUCE OCCASIONAL TO FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY
 RAINFALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

 THERE IS A LIMITED TO ELEVATED RISK FOR STRONG TO POTENTIALLY
 SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS SATURDAY...MAINLY IN AREAS EAST OF HIGHWAY
 65. IF SEVERE STORMS DEVELOP...THE PRIMARY RISK WILL BE LARGE
 HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS ALSO POSSIBLE
 WITH THE STRONGER STORMS.
