  LAKE MICHIGAN MICHIGAN CITY IN TO ST. JOSEPH MI 5 NM OFFSHORE TO
  MID-LINE OF LAKE....
  MICHIGAN CITY IN TO NEW BUFFALO MI...
  NEW BUFFALO MI TO ST JOSEPH MI...

AT 922 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 26 NM WEST OF
THE ST. JOSEPH LIGHT TO 23 NM NORTHWEST OF MICHIGAN CITY...MOVING
EAST AT 30 KNOTS. SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP
RAPIDLY OVER THE WATERS TODAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
