...DENSE FOG ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS THROUGH MONDAY MORNING FOR
AREAS NORTH OF POINT CONCEPTION...

DENSE FOG WITH VISIBILITY 1 NM OR LESS IS EXPECTED OVER THE
COASTAL WATERS NORTH OF POINT CONCEPTION THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.
A CATALINA EDDY SHOULD ALLOW FOR BETTER VISIBILITY FOR AREAS IN
THE SOCAL BIGHT. THERE COULD BE PATCHY DENSE FOG ACROSS THE SANTA
BARBARA COAST THROUGH EARLY THIS AFTERNOON AS WELL.

MARINERS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR ABRUPT VISIBILITY CHANGES DOWN TO
ONE NAUTICAL MILE OR LESS. REDUCE SPEEDS AND BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
EXPOSED ROCKS AND OTHER VESSELS...AND USE RADAR OR GPS NAVIGATION
IF AVAILABLE.

MARINERS IN HARBOR...ESPECIALLY THOSE WITHOUT RADAR...SHOULD
CONSIDER REMAINING IN HARBOR AS DENSE FOG CAN OBSCURE EXPOSED
ROCKS AND OTHER VESSELS...INCLUDING LARGE SHIPS IN THE SHIPPING
LANES.

IF YOU EXPERIENCE RESTRICTED VISIBILITY PLEASE FOLLOW USCG RULES
OF CONDUCT OF VESSELS IN RESTRICTED VISIBILITY.

BEFORE SETTING OFF AND WHILE UNDERWAY ALWAYS LISTEN TO NOAA
