...GUSTY SHOWERS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Chesapeake Bay from Pooles Island to Sandy Point MD...
  Chesapeake Bay north of Pooles Island MD...
  Patapsco River including Baltimore Harbor...

At 747 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy showers and isolated
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds of 20 to 30 knots. These
showers were located along a line extending from 17 nm west of
Middle River to 23 nm north of Key Bridge, moving east at 35 knots.
This cluster of showers will affect the waters between 815 and 915
PM.

Northeast River...

Pooles Island...
Spesutie Island...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds up to 30 knots...locally higher
waves...and isolated lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until these storms pass.
