.GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL MAINTAIN LARGE WAVES OVER LAKE HURON
EARLY THIS MORNING UNTIL HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING INTO THE AREA ALLOWS
WINDS AND WAVES TO SUBSIDE. THE HIGH WILL BRING FAIRLY LIGHT WINDS
AND QUIET WEATHER THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF TODAY AND THROUGH MUCH OF
THURSDAY.

* WIND AND WAVES: DURING THE SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY...EXPECT
  SUSTAINED WINDS UP TO 20 KNOTS FROM THE NORTHWEST WITH GUSTS
  UP TO 24 KNOTS. THE LARGEST EXPECTED SIGNIFICANT WAVES WILL
  BE 6 FEET WITH A POTENTIAL MAXIMUM WAVE HEIGHT OF 8 FEET.

* TIMING: THE MAXIMUM WINDS ARE EXPECTED AROUND 3 AM WEDNESDAY
  WITH THE LARGEST WAVES EXPECTED AROUND 4 AM WEDNESDAY.

INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER
VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.
