...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 1 PM EST TUESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Small
Craft Advisory, which is in effect from 4 AM to 1 PM EST Tuesday.

* Location...The Delaware Bay

* Winds...South 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt...becoming
  westerly 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt late Tuesday morning.

* Seas...2 to 4 feet.

* Timing...The strongest winds are expected late Monday night
  through early Tuesday morning. A cold front will bring an abrupt
  shift to westerly winds around mid day Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 25 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners...especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.

...GALE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH TUESDAY
AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Gale
Watch, which is in effect from Tuesday morning through Tuesday
afternoon.

* Location...The Delaware and New Jersey Coastal waters.

* Winds...Southwest 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 40 kt.

* Seas...5 to 8 feet.

* Timing...The strongest winds are expected Tuesday morning.

* Outlook...Tuesday afternoon, a cold front will bring an abrupt
  shift to westerly winds of 15 to 20 kt with gusts near 30 kt. A
  prolonged period of small craft advisory conditions is likely to
  continue through at least Wednesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Watch is issued when the risk of gale force winds of 34 to
47 knots has significantly increased...but the specific timing
and/or location is still uncertain. It is intended to provide
additional lead time for mariners who may wish to consider
altering their plans.
