CENTRAL MARYLAND...NORTHWESTERN HOWARD AND NORTH CENTRAL MONTGOMERY
COUNTIES IN CENTRAL MARYLAND...EASTERN FREDERICK COUNTY IN NORTH
CENTRAL MARYLAND AND NORTHWESTERN BALTIMORE COUNTIES IN NORTHERN
MARYLAND...

At 932 AM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms located along a
line extending from near Ballenger Creek to 6 miles northwest of
Eldersburg. Movement was northeast at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.

Heavy rainfall of one inch can be expected.

Locations impacted include...
Frederick, Westminster, Damascus, Emmitsburg, Harry Grove Stadium,
Eldersburg, Ballenger Creek, Mount Airy, Taneytown, Hampstead,
Walkersville, Manchester, Sykesville, New Market, Green Valley,
Gamber, Clover Hill, Discovery-Spring Garden, Linganore-Bartonsville
and Adamstown.

Locally heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause ponding of water on roadways and cause small streams to go out
of their banks. Be alert for the potential of standing water and
hydroplaning.
