.NOW...Scattered to locally numerous showers continue affecting
several sectors of Puerto Rico and also the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The heaviest showers are currently affecting the northern and
eastern sections of Puerto Rico. These showers are moving quickly
but they are moderate to heavy and they may produce accumulations
of a quarter of an inch to a half an inch per hour. This shower
activity is expected to continue into late tonight. Expect
ponding of water on roadways and poor drainage areas as well as
reduced visibilities and gusty winds.
